Position Overview:
As a Technical Account Manager, you will be the primary technical point of contact for our clients, ensuring they receive exceptional service and value from our data governance solutions. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide expert guidance, and drive the successful implementation and adoption of our products. Your technical expertise and customer-centric approach will be critical in building strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.

What You Will Do:

  • Serve as the main technical advisor and advocate for assigned clients, understanding their business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Manage and lead the technical relationship with customer through product implementations, integrations, and ongoing support and assist the CSM in identifying additional expansion opportunities.
  • Provide proactive guidance and best practices to help clients maximize the value of our data governance solutions.​​​​​​
  • Experience working directly with business customers on the content and usage of large enterprise systems, particularly ERP systems (such as PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite) with a solid understanding of common use cases within these systems. Experience with exporting and archiving content from these systems is a plus.
  • Proficient in big data infrastructure technologies such as Hive, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and Flume.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product development, and support, to address customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and reviews with clients to ensure they are achieving their goals and identify opportunities for further optimization.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Customer Success and Service Delivery teams on customer escalation management and change management needs.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in big data and data governance to provide informed recommendations to clients.
  • Upselling and Cross-selling: Identify opportunities to introduce additional features or products that align with customer needs and objectives.
  • This is a fully remote position based in the Continental United States but will require travel globally.
What You'll Bring to The Table:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Account Manager, Solutions Architect, or similar role in the software industry, preferably in data governance or big data.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software implementation, integration, and support.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and provide clear, actionable guidance.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.​​​​​​
  • Familiarity with data governance, data security, and compliance frameworks is a plus.
