What You Will Do:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and objectives.
- Extract, clean, and preprocess large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various sources.
- Develop and implement data models, algorithms, and statistical techniques to analyze complex datasets.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations.
- Design and execute data-driven experiments to test hypotheses and validate findings.
- Create visualizations and dashboards to present insights and findings to stakeholders.
- Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to forecast future trends and behaviors.
- Monitor and evaluate data quality, integrity, and consistency to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in big data analytics.
What You'll Bring To The Table:- Proficient in big data infrastructure technologies, such as hive, hadoop, spark, kafka, and flume
- Experienced in data migration and data conversion projects, especially involving large-scale and complex data sets.
- Familiar with parquet based conversions and optimization techniques for improving performance and reducing storage costs
- Able to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows using various tools and frameworks.
- Skilled in data quality assessment, data cleansing, data integration, and data transformation
- Knowledgeable in data governance, data security, and data privacy best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as communication and collaboration skills
- Preferably have a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, data science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
- Certified or trained in relevant big data technologies and platforms
- Knowledge of Networking concepts including Private DNS, Private links, App Gateways, Firewalls, and Route tables.
- Understanding of troubleshooting using Azure native tools in the Azure portal.
- Experience with Open Search / Elastic Search.
